Rubus 'Glencoe'

Glencoe raspberry, developed by the Scottish Crop Research Institute, features virtually thornless canes that are easy to manage and a bushy, less vigorously spreading growth habit, making it ideal for homeowners. With a deliciously intense flavor, this raspberry can be enjoyed fresh or used for wines, sauces, and preserves.

Prefers well-drained, mildly acid soil. Will spread to form a dense patch over time. Good in mounded rows or raised beds with wire supports to keep the canes from tipping over.  Avoid waterlogged soils. Resistant to verticillium wilt
