Reine des Vallees Alpine Strawberry

Fragaria vesca 'Reine des Vallees'

Grown in Europe by commercial and home growers, this is the primary cultivar grown by commercial exporters of alpine strawberries, also known as fraises des bois. The long, narrow, aromatic red fruits are full of flavor and sweet - a real treat!

Unusually cold-hardy and great for growers all over the US! Will produce in sun to shade; afternoon shade is recommended for growers in warmer summer regions. Sold in a 4" pot.

USDA Zone: 3-9
