A beautiful, dark red, medium-size, McIntosh-type, dessert-quality apple.

Spartan is scab and mildew resistant. Trees bear early and regularly. Fruit ripens late, mid-October in PNW and is excellent for keeping. On EMLA 26 dwarf rootstock.
