White Alpine Strawberry

Fragaria vesca var. albocarpa

Unlike other Alpines, this variety produces runners and makes an excellent groundcover or container plant in sun or dappled shade. 8" tall plants bear 2 light crops of small, sweet, creamy-white berries; one in late spring and one in late summer.

Native to mountainous regions, it is not the best choice for areas with hot, humid summers.  Sold in 4" pots

Grow Height:  1' or smaller (Groundcover)

Sun: Full to Partial Shade

Ripening Time: June - September

Pollination: Self Fertile
