The Cardinal™ Asian persimmon, native to Korea, has an early ripening time and is known for being non-astringent. This particular type has large, sweet, orange fruit and a compact tree. With an early ripening time compared to other varieties, it is perfect for fresh eating. It is also visually appealing with its compact size and vibrant orange-red foliage in the fall.

Considered low chill - only needs 300 hours to bloom and set fruit reliably. Provide regular summer water to keep fruit juicy and prevent premature fruit drop.
